Last festival in Spain before it's UK bound, but just to mention quickly The Festival de Les Arts in Valencia Spain. Set amongst the seriously awe-inspiring Arts and Science Centre in the River Park Turia, (Ciutat de Les Arts y Ciéncias en el Parque Turia ) the festival has a seriously superior architectural back drop from which to enjoy 3 stages of high calibre music, an array of delicious food stands and plenty of bars (standard, this is Spain). As an English speaker this IS a heavily Spanish festival but Crystal Fighters and Swedish band Mando Diao made up for the stuff I couldn't really get into) and the Spanish band Bearoid who finished up the action on the Brutal stage were playing some very shimmy-tastic tunes which I found myself jumping about to with pleasure.
